Vintage 1930’s “Plumb USA 4 lbs” Yankee axe head

Plumb axe history began in Philadelphia with Fayette R. Plumb in the late 1800s, becoming known for quality tools and using cast steel.
This is a single bit, Yankee pattern axe head. It weighs 3 pounds 14 ounces.
Measures 7-1/2" in length and 4-3/4” width at bit end with a 2-1/2” eye.
Condition is good and reflects decades of use with minor rolling at the top of the eye.
