The Ten Eyck Axe Manufacturing Company, founded by brothers Abram & Albert Ten Eyck in Cohoes, NY, around the mid-1860s, produced high-quality axes and edge tools. The company became a significant New York tool manufacturer, eventually transitioning into or influencing other brands like A. G. Peck & Co. before closing for good in 1896.

This antique Ten Eyck Axe Mfg., (Western pattern) broadhead axe head has a few very minor chips in the blade and on the pole, but it is in fantastic condition. It simply exhibits the overall signs of age and use for a 135+ year old axe. It weighs 5 lbs. 11 oz. and measures 8-3/4" in length and has a 10-3/4” width at the bit edge.
