Rare 1800's Antique African Niger Baoulé Dogon Copper Manilla Currency Bracelet

Antique handmade African copper snake cuff bracelet. Exceptional antique circa early 19th century or older bracelet. This large bracelet is made of solid copper, is very heavy, and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The cuff is embellished with intricate dimensional design along with hand engraved detailing.

Used as currency in Manilla and thought to be worn to protect the wearer from snake bites as well. This piece is unique collectible, with great craftsmanship having gone into its creation!
