Mexican Folk Art Peacock Platter Hand Painted Pottery Wall Hanging Colorful Bird Decor 2013

Gorgeous hand-painted Mexican folk art pottery platter featuring a large stylized peacock surrounded by bold tropical leaves, flowers and colorful decorative patterns.

The colors on this piece are fantastic—vibrant hot pink, lime green, turquoise, cobalt blue, purple, orange and yellow outlined dramatically in black. The hand-painted brushwork and small variations throughout give it wonderful artisan character.

The platter has two integrated handles/openings, making it especially striking as a decorative wall display. The reverse is finished in glossy black.
